After the prints have been printed, we varnish them multiple times by hand. The colors in the print will stand out even more, and becomes resistant against scratches and dirt.
After varnishing the canvas, it gets tensed onto a wooden stretcher, made from sustainable wood with PEFC mark. Our wooden stretchers are built up from multiple layers of pinewood, which are glued in opposite directions, so they can’t bend under pressure or changing ambient temperatures.
We tense the canvas onto the stretcher by hand. After it has been tensed, we make sure everything is finished correctly and tense it even more by adding wedges in the corners of the wooden stretcher. At last we install the hanging-system, and pack the canvas carefully.
A frame gives your canvas just that little bit of extra appearance. All frames we offer to you are cut to length and assembled in house, so we can deliver you the highest quality possible. You can choose between a wood-colored frame, a white one and a black one.
